Our vision and purpose
Welcome to Destiny School of Ministry. This section is a brief description of the different aspect of what we offer at the School of Ministry. We are devoted to building up the household of faith in love to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit with the Father’s heart. Our quest is to see the passionate love of God burning in the heart of every believer until the church is ablaze with His glory. The light, glory and power of God is released in demonstration and power to a lost and dying world through those who serve with the Father’s heart - the faith that works by love. Our goal is to see every believer cultivate intimacy with God, hear His voice, abide in His presence and develop their gifts “for it is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27).
We provide equipping in the area of Christlikeness and leadership development. Here at the School you will learn to hear the Lord’s voice, experience His love, develop your vision and receive training in the operation of spiritual gifts such as;
· The gift of discerning of spirits,
· The gifts of healing
· The watchmen’s ministry
· The gift of faith
· The gift of prophecy
· The Father’s heart and His love
Destiny Ministry Teams
The Destiny Team Leaders function as a ministry team. We believe that New Testament ministry is based on teamwork. Jesus formed a ministry team of 12 men to do the works that He did. They went out and changed the world. We believe that the great commission is not just making converts, but the call to “make disciples.” The great commission is about raising up Christians with depth, character and power to do the works that Jesus did.
Based up the discipleship model of Jesus, our team leader’s develop Christ - like character as well as the spiritual gifting in their team members. They seek to build and lead ministry teams, such as our,
· Prophetic Ministry Teams
· Healing and Delieverance Teams
· Creative Arts & Praise Dance Teams
· Heart of David Worship teams
· Watchmen’s Ministry and intercessors teams
Many, who attend the School of Ministry that serve as a team leader or on one of the various ministry teams, attend a different church. As the Lord once told me, we are to use regional people to reach the region. By combining resources, gifts, and talents, our overall ministry can become more effective for the Kingdom of God.
This gives Christians the opportunity to receive the necessary training they need to develop their gifts and talents to become more effective in their home church, fellowship and community. Our standard is that we do not use people to build up our organization or ministry, but our ministry to build up the body of Christ unto the edifying of itself in love.
Ministry Opportunities
Those who participate on a ministry team use their gifts and talents to serve at our Church Fellowship, conferences, outreaches and other churches. Some are involved in power evangelism outreaches at county fairs and festivals. Our ministry teams often work together, such as the ministry of worship, creative arts, healing prayer and prophetic ministry, to do exploit for Christ in the region.
Or for those who are not ready to attend the School of Ministry, they may prefer to attend our Church Fellowship, where we provide a safe environment for God’s people to find rest, healing and restoration in the atmosphere of worship to cultivate a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus and receive the ministry of the Word.
The following is a brief overview of some of the team ministries that our team leaders build and lead at the Destiny School of Ministry.
Heart of David Worship Team
King David was both a worshipping warrior and a lover of God. In all that we do our goal is to touch the Father’s heart and behold His glory. Psalm 149 exhorts us to be joyful in glory and praise His name in the dance with musical instruments. Worship is the key to access the heart of God to abide in His presence for God inhabits the praises of His people. We love to celebrate our life in Christ and worship Him for He is worthy to be praised.
We believe that the Lord is restoring the Tabernacle of David, a house of worship for all nations and denominations (Acts 15:16). David was known as a man who was after God’s own heart. This is because David sought to know God’s heart with a passion for His presence. David loved to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, which is the heart of God for all mankind. Psalm 149 exhorts us to sing unto the Lord a new song, to be joyful in glory and praise His name in the dance.
The Lord is rasing up an army and He will lead it. The first division of this army is that of the tribe of Judah, which means praise. This division will go out before the army with songs of praise and joyful celebration.
Destiny Creative Arts Team
The Lord‘s hand is upon the creative visual arts to bring healing, restoration and renewal to the body of Christ. Our purpose is to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ through mime, skits, drama, praise dance, sculpture and paintings. God is a creative God. As sons and daughters of the Creator, we were created in His image to be creative. We believe the Lord‘s hand is strongly upon the visual arts with the anointing to bring healing, restoration and renewal to the body of Christ. Some of these teams consist of children and youth, as well as adults. God is using the media such as the internet and television, to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The love of God is a universal language that all can understand.
Praise Dance Team
Our purpose for the praise dance ministry is to worship the Lord. Whether choreographed or with spontaneous expressions, the dance is a powerful means of worship to express our love, joy, praise and adoration to our heavenly Father. The praise dance team ministers at our Church Fellowship, conferences and seminars, the School of the Ministry and when we take the School of Ministry on the road to minister to other churches and outreaches.. destiny missions
Part of our vision is to establish Schools of Ministry abroad, such as in Africa and India. We equip church leaders in other nations to help them build ministry teams as well as to provide ministry opportunities for our ministry teams to travel on missions to minister to the sick, oppressed and the poor.
Other teams that we have are the Prophetic Ministry teams, Watchmen and Intercessors ministry teams, Healing and Delieverance Ministry Team.
