About Prophetic Destiny Ministries

founderProphetic Destiny Ministries is a multifaceted ministry founded by Roy Roden with the vision to help believers become strong in the Lord, cultivate intimacy with God, hear His voice and develop their spiritual gifts to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit “for it is Christ in you, the “hope of glory” (Col. 1:27). Our passion is to abide in God who is love, and reveal His love to a lost and dying world. PDM began with a School of the Holy Spirit in 1997 with the biblical mandate of Eph. 4:11-12,

And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets: and some, evangelists; and some pastors and teachers. (12) For the perfecting of saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

To comply with this mandate, we seek to help every believer know their call and develop their gifts to function in the body of Christ for the work of ministry, including the children and the youth (1 Cor. 12:18).  We are always mindful how we can serve the Master’s household, not be served by it, to build up the body of Christ unto the edifying of itself in love. (Eph. 4:16) Thus, our goal is not to use people to build up our ministry, but to build up the members of the body of Christ in love. We provide ongoing training through the following ministries;

Destiny Church Fellowship is a loving community known for the Father’s Heart. Our vision is to provide a safe loving environment to develop a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.  Our quest is to see the passionate love of God burning in the heart of every believer until the church is ablaze with His glory. The light, glory and power of God is released in demonstration and power to a lost and dying world through those who serve with the Father’s heart - the faith that works by love.  Our services are built around a contemporary style of worship with time devoted to sound biblical teaching and ministry. We are a MorningStar Church as members of the MorningStar Fellowship of Churches.

Destiny School of Ministry - The leadership of PDM functions as a team devoted to build and lead ministry teams with the opportunity for the members to step out and participate in ministry. At the School of Ministry, the leadership has established Prophetic Ministry Teams, Heart of David Worship Teams, Watchmen’s Intercessors Ministry Teams, Healing and Delieverance Teams, Power Evangelism Teams, Creative Arts and Praise Dance Ministry Teams. These teams minister at our conferences, church services, and outreaches.

The greatest resource that we have is found in God’s people. We esteem Jesus Christ, His truth, His love, and His gifting and the presence of the Holy Spirit and the Father’s love, and the fellowship of His people, to be the greatest treasures that we can possess on this earth.

 

In Conclusion

There is a major outpouring of the Holy Spirit coming accompanied by prophecy, visions and dreams. Acts 2:17 declares that in the last days, the Lord will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters will prophesy. We are preparing for this by providing a fireplace where the fire of God can burn brightly to bless the household of faith. We also want to help others build a fireplace in their own church or fellowship where the people can enjoy the warmth and blessing of the prophetic ministry. It is our passion to see the prophetic ministry restored with integrity. The purpose of the prophetic is to edify, exhort and comfort the body of Christ (1 Cor. 14:3, 12 & 31).

Even now, the harvest is ripe. As the Lord commanded us, we are praying for laborers to work in the harvest. We are also praying for the wisdom to equip workers to care for the Lord’s own. New converts will need to be discipled and cared for. Home groups will play a very important role in this. We can prepare now by gathering Bibles and training material and by equipping Christians to make disciples of men. Our goal is to be a facilitator and a host for the move of God. We want to help you in every way that we can to facilitate a move of God in your life, home church and community.

In summary, we seek to be place for believers to come together for fellowship under the banner of Christ and His love to meet with the Lord. Our goal is to help everyone know their mission in life and be properly trained and equipped to perform it, so when we all stand together on the great judgment day before our King, we will hear the words that will be the greatest reward of all, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
