Our Church Ministries

Destiny Church Fellowship is a prophetic church that moves in the gifts of the Holy Spirit with the Father’s Heart. It is our goal to provide an atmosphere of worship, teaching, and fellowship to enable people to connect with God and experience His love to become all that God has created them to be. In preparation for the harvest and the work of ministry, our team leaders have established ministry teams. Each one functions to provide a place for believers to receive ministry and participate in ministry to serve and care for those the Lord sends to us. The following is a brief overview of some of the church ministries,

Children and Youth Ministries

Our vision is to equip the youth for service by fostering Godly character, inspire a love for truth, instill leadership skills, stimulate academic excellence and encourage creative expression fulfill God’s call for their lives. We are especially devoted to seeing the children equipped to be used by the Holy Spirit to minister to one another. The same anointing that abides in adults also dwells in youth. Jesus said, “Suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for such is the Kingdom of heaven” (Mt. 19:14).

We want to help raise up the next generation of leaders for the church and the world. Our goal is to see them spiritually, emotionally, and physically equipped in order to fulfill God’s call for their lives. We encourage the youth to be used by God for the edification of their fellow believers. There is nothing that encourages believers at any age more than when they are used by God. Our purpose is to;

• Provide an atmosphere that encourages a love for learning
• Lay a firm foundation in Scripture
• Cultivate a love for God and His truth
• Develop each one’s spiritual gifts, talents and passions
• Provide teaching opportunities to develop their leadership skills.
• Provide ministry opportunities

Allowing the youth to minister is an effective part of their training. Children’s meetings provide opportunities for worship, ministry and fun. There are outreaches and Kid’s Sundays where the kids do all the teaching and ministering. Our Kids are trained in the Scriptures, worship and intercession and participate on our prophetic teams as well as healing teams and creative visual arts teams to minister at our Church Fellowship, conferences, outreaches and special events.

Destiny Home Fellowship

And they continued daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart (Acts 2:46).

The expression of the church in the book of Acts reveals that the home was a vibrant center of church life. Smaller gatherings provide opportunities for relationships expressed in at least four different ways:

Fellowship - Developing friendships in a family atmosphere is a practical part of home groups where trust is developed, true relationships flourish, healing takes place and lives are changed. Home groups serve a significant purpose in providing ministry to the body of Christ through the expression of love, hope and faith.

Equipping - Each individual has the opportunity to develop and use their gifts by stepping out of their comfort zone into the works of God. It is a place where valuable experience can be obtained, as well as an essential place for the training and development of God’s army.

Evangelism- Home groups provide a wholesome atmosphere for family and friends who do not know the Lord; a place where they can experience the warmth and love of God while meeting the Lord themselves. Home groups will play a major role in the harvest as a place to disciple new converts in Christ.

Watchmen Ministry - Home fellowships provide an outpost for intercessors and watchmen to take their stand upon the wall to hear from heaven, receive divine wisdom, counsel and strategies, and pray accordingly.

Church Family Fellowship

Each month our family gets together for fun, activities and fellowship. Our activities include hiking, boating, family picnics, bowling, fishing and trips to events. During this time, we invite our friends, family and neighbors to join us- especially those that need to experience the warmth of God’s love.

Fathers Heart Sunday

We devote the last Sunday of each month entirely to worship. We call this our “Father’s Heart Sunday” because it is the Father heart for His people to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Following this is a pot luck supper. Bring a dish celebrate with us the joy of life in Christ for He is worthy of our love, adoration and praise. Our goal is that of Psalms 24, which is to open the gates for the King of glory to come in,

Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be lifted up you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of gory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord might in battle. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory (Psalms 24:7-8 & 10).

Our vision is to see the body of Christ come together under the banner of His love for corporate worship, fellowship and interchange. We also provide time for prophetic ministry and healing prayer by our Destiny Ministry Team members.

Church Missions

The biblical mandate is to take care of the poor and the oppressed. Part of monthly our tithes and offerings goes to support orphanages and missions in countries such as Africa and India. We also help locally in our fellowship and local area, those who are in need. Jesus said that freely we have received, freely we are to give. There is not better investment than to sow seeds into the lives of those who are in need.
